Overview

Perfect for MacBook® and Chromebook™ — The JCA374 USB-C™ Multi-Adapter provides extra connectivity from your computer with 5 Gbps transfer speed. It allows you to add an additional USB™ peripheral, HDMI™ monitor or Gigabit LAN through your USB™ port. USB‐C^™ is the new standard for connecting desktops and laptops and will eventually replace all current USB^™ cables and connectors. This new USB^™ standard can be found on laptops, phones, tablets, etc. The USB Type‐C^™ has a slim and reversible design, so there is no wrong way to plug it in. USB Type‐C^™ offers greater power delivery and faster data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps.

System requirements

• Your host USB-C^™ port (USB^™ 3.1 is recommended) must support USB™ Power Delivery and DisplayPort^™ alt mode to ensure full functionality.
• 4K-capable displays and cable are required to achieve 3840 x 2160p resolution.
• DisplayPort^™ v1.2 required on graphics card or video source to support 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz
• Your mobile device might require more power than your charger can allow to use the adapter and charge your device simultaneously. To ensure the JCA374 powers and charges your mobile device while in use, a higher wattage power adapter may be required.
• If you are using a high-powered USB^™ device please attach an USB-C^™ power adapter to the JCA374 power delivery port for maximum performance.
• To ensure files copy completely, do not remove the USB-C^™ power adapter while copying files.
